Raids, shields, siege, and spies is part of Riftborne’s warfare and intelligence system and is documented here for patch 11.75. Evidence

This overview groups the focused articles associated with raids, shields, siege, and spies.

Four different questions

  • Raid: how much exposed value can surviving cargo remove?
  • Defensive integrity: how much contribution remains from the culture-specific defensive structure?
  • Siege: can surviving siege capability remove the selected building level?
  • Espionage: how current and complete is the information used to choose the mission?

These systems interact but are not interchangeable. A fleet may win combat while failing to loot, fail to remove a structure, or act on intelligence that was accurate only when captured. Evidence

Planning sequence

Collect current information, state the mission’s desired outcome, preview the exact target, and preserve the support hulls that convert combat success into that outcome. After impact, use the report as the starting state for the next decision rather than assuming the first plan still applies.
