Noctium and Noctmarks appear in the rare-metal and SPU workflow. They are not a fifth and sixth colony resource: the colony resource panel continues to track Vulkron, Aurelite, Deuterium, and Astra. Evidence
Read the source screen first
Use the rare-metal site and SPU screens to determine which quantity a current action consumes or produces. Do not substitute one term for the other merely because both appear in the same workflow.
| Question | Where to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| What do I currently own? | Rare-metal or SPU inventory | Prevents planning from an old remembered balance. |
| What does this action consume? | Action preview or confirmation panel | Confirms the required quantity before commitment. |
| Is something in progress? | Site status and delivery state | Separates inventory from material already committed. |
| Where will the result arrive? | Delivery or destination field | Prevents creating an improvement for the wrong recipient. |
Needs verification
Patch-wide conversion ratios, award schedules, inventory limits, and transfer rules are not published here. Record the world identifier and capture time when reporting any of them because the live campaign can supply its own configuration. Evidence
Practical rule
Describe a transaction as a complete sentence: what leaves which inventory, what is created, where it is delivered, and when it becomes usable. That wording catches most misunderstandings before an irreversible action.
